February layout - Project 12

ぎりぎり間に合ったかな・・・。
Project 12 の2月のlayoutがなんとか滑り込みセーフで間に合いました。

見開き2ページのlayoutを、春休みに入ったこどもたちを相手に
なんとか細切れの時間を駆使して作り上げたので、なんだか・・・むむむ。

1月の新燃岳の噴火の影響で、2月はこどもたちはほとんど屋外で遊ぶことができませんでした。
学校も幼稚園も校庭や園庭で遊べず・・・。
毎日マスク着用での通学、通園でした（これは今でも）

晴れていても外で遊べない日々だったけど、
でもそんな時でもこどもたちは元気元気。
家の中でそれなりに遊べるものだ、と感心したものです。
そして気分転換で行った屋内プールでの笑顔を見れば
ママたちもいつまでもブルーにはなっていられず・・・。

そして3月になって、徐々に外遊びが解禁になって嬉しいこどもたち。
桜の花もほころび始め、青空の下で遊べる幸せをかみしめながら
今日もわが子たちはお友達とめいいっぱい遊んでいました。
（今日は近所の餅投げがあり、朝からみんなでお餅をまるめたり、大忙し！）

This is the February layout for "Project 12".

We had volacanic erruption last January and we had to struggle with volcanic ashes,
and children couldn't go outside and play during February.
So we stayed inside and enjoyed making some snowmen and dolls with wools, baking valentine cookies,
reading many many picture books, etc.
We also enjoyed in-door swimming.
Yes, we really needed some exercise!!

Inspired Blueprints #68

本当に久しぶりのアップです。

あの地震以来すっかりlayoutを作る気力が失せ・・・
今日まで手をつけることができませんでした。

連日報道される悲しいニュースに家事まで手につかなくなり・・・
そうこうしているうちに、次女が発熱やら嘔吐下痢やら中耳炎やら、
1週間のうちにありとあらやる病気をして、ようやくこの3連休で回復したところです。

ママが塞いだ気持ちでいるとこどもにも伝染するのでしょうか。
この現実は現実として受け止め、前向きに私ができることをして
（今のところ義援金を寄付するくらいしかできませんが）
家ではこどもたちと一緒に日々過ごせることに改めて感謝して
こどもたちの前ではやっぱり笑顔でいないとな・・・
そんなことを思った週末でした。

さて、その久々のlayoutはInspired Blueprints のスケッチ#68をベースにして作りました。
連休中に、今年15年を迎える「どんぐり1000年の森プロジェクト」に
初めて参加してきました。
その時の写真を使って・・・スケッチは写真3枚になっているけど、
ここは私らしく5枚使いで（ルール違反？？）
まだちょっとテンションがあがりきっていないですが、この1枚をステップに徐々に
エンジンかけていければ、と思っています。

I couldn't update my blog for a while...I completely lost my mojo after the big earthquake in Japan.
We still see sad news on TV everyday. 
9000 people found dead and there are still 13000more people who are not found yet.
But things are getting better, too.
Many brave Japanese men are working hard to cool down the nuclear reactor.
I believe everything is going to be allright soon.

So, now I'm back and here is my layout.  This is based on the sketch #68 from Inspired Blueprints.
We planted 3000 oak trees with 500 other people last weekend. 
Though it was raining, my daughters enjoyed planting.   Yes, it was really fun.

さあ、またこれからどんどんlayout作ろう！
・・・でも・・・あと3日したらこどもたち春休みでしたね・・・。
ちょっと早いけど、素敵な春休みをお過ごしください。

地震によせて ～A Big Earthquake in Japan～

I recieved many e-mail and messages from friends all over the world with concerning about our big earthquake in Japan. I really appreciate for that, thank you so much.

Fortunately, I am safe.  We live in south and we don't feel any quakes at all here . 

But I have my mom, relatives, many of my friends living in Tokyo, and they really had hard times yesterday.
My mom said many cups, glasses, plates, flower vases were broken and many many books were thrown away from her shelves, and she still feels quakes quite often. 
Some of my friends had to stay at their office all through the night, because most of traffics were out of service.  Some of them tried to get their home walking all the way and they said they got home around 3am in the midnight.  BUT, Tokyo is Okay. Things are getting better.
But I don't want to believe what had happened  in the north where the biggest earthquake hit...big tsunami had hit a small fisherman's town and  many cars and houses were destroyed.  All we can do is just pray for people who suffered this big quakes and also for people who are still not found.

昨日の地震は本当に想像を絶するものがあります。
私は九州に住んでいるため、今回は全く地震を体感することもありませんでしたが、
母や親せき、沢山の友人が東京におり、昨晩はみなさん、それはそれは大変な思いをして
家路についたり、会社で夜を明かしたりされました。
まだまだ余震も続いて眠れない夜だったに違いありません。
友人の中にはご実家が仙台の方もいて、どんなにか不安だったかと思うと胸が痛みます。
テレビで見る映像には本当に言葉を失います。
どうぞ被災されたみなさんが一日も早く普通の生活に戻れるように、心から祈っています。
離れたところから何もできないけど、余震もまだ続きます、どうぞくれぐれも
みなさん気をつけて・・・。
 

Inspired Blueprints #67

昨晩次女が38.3度の熱をだし、今日は幼稚園を休んでいるのですが・・・。
朝には復活して、今元気がありあまりまくって、母、ちょっとくたくたです。
元気でいてくれることが何よりもありがたいんですが・・・。

さて、おとといの晩あたりからちょこちょこと隙間時間をみつけて
Inspired Blueprintsのsketch#67をベースに1枚layoutを作りました。
実は私は1枚のlayoutに1枚の写真だけ、というのはまだ作ったことがありませんでした。
どうしてもいっぱい撮った写真を少しでも多くのせたいものだから・・・。

でも、今年の冬休みに撮った写真の中で、とてもお気に入りの一枚があり、
その日はその写真以外撮らなかったので・・・。
なんとしてもこの笑顔を残したい！！と思って、ついに1枚写真のlayout、解禁です！

This is the very first layout that I used only ONE PHOTO in ONE LAYOUT.

I usually use 2 or 3, or sometimes more photos in my layout, so this was really challenging for me.
I had one photo which was taken at the end of 2010, and I just love it.
I decided to use sketch #67 from "Inspired Blueprints" which, I thought, was perfect for my darling photo.

なれない「写真1枚layout」に、ちょっとてこずりましたが、
最後のfinishは今日ずる休み(!?)している次女と一緒にぺたぺた・・・
変なところにのりがつかないか・・・とどきどきはらはらしながらも、
一緒に作っていいの？と喜ぶ次女に癒されました。

Sketchabilities Design Team!!

週末にとっても嬉しいニュースが飛び込んできました！！
SketchabilitiesのDesign Teamに選ばれたんです！！
世界中の素敵なscrapper20人と一緒にlayoutをshareできるなんて・・・
想像しただけで、興奮してしまいます！！
4月15日に初めてのレイアウトが紹介されます。
今からとても楽しみです！！

英語・・・頑張らなくちゃ・・・!!

おばあちゃん大好き！！

子供たちが大好きな人・・・
その一人が東京にいる私の母、こどもたちにとっては”東京おばあちゃん”。
小学校や幼稚園に進んでからは、母のところに帰れるのは
子供たちの冬休みと夏休みの年に２回だけですが、
こどもたちも、そして母も、その再会をとても楽しみにしています。

写真は、今年のお正月、お節もそろそろ飽きてきたころに
みんなで一緒に作ったイングリッシュマフィンのランチを食べるところ。
おばあちゃんと孫の微笑ましい写真でlayoutを一枚作りました。

今回は"Get Picky"のInspiration Challenge #5も兼ねて。
"sketchabilities"の”sketch#33”をベースにしました。
淡いピンクと水色で全体が優しい雰囲気になったでしょうか。

I made this layout for "Feburary Inspiration Challenge #5" from "Get Picky".
Also I used "sketch #33" from "sketchabilities"
These pictures were taken while we were back in Tokyo during this winter holidays.
My girls really love spending time with their grandma.
In these pictures, we made "English muffins" together and were just to have them for lunch.

このlayoutは今度の母の日に、フレームに入れて母にプレゼントしようかな・・・と思っています。

I'm just thinking sending this layout for my mom as a mother's day gift.
(I know we still have two more months!!)

夏のページ完成！

昨年夏の種子島のlayoutを先日アップしましたが、
種子島の写真があまりにもたくさんあるので、もう１枚作って
double layoutにしました。

I just uploaded summer layout the other day, but as we have sooooo many photos on this summer holidays,
I decided to make another layout with 5more photos.

I used same LYB patten papers, SEI buttons, and Maya road scallop journal tag.
My daughter enjoyed her first sea-kayaking and snorkeling on this beautiful island.

新しい右のページのｵﾚﾝｼﾞ色のマットは、実はつぎはぎしています・・・足りなかったので・・・。
本当はこのlayout、先日参加したハピクロに間に合わせたかったのですが・・・。
でも、これでやっと次女の昨年８月のページが完成です！

このlayoutを作っていたら、去年の夏に気分が逆戻りしてしまいました。
こどもたちは初めてのシュノーケルにシーカヤック、夜はログハウスで海を眺めながらのBBQ。
最後には宇宙センターの観光付きで、まさに贅沢な時間をすごしたのでした。
ああ、今年の夏が待ち遠しい！！
